President & CEO

Daniel Tereau is President and CEO of Proveris Scientific. Dan brings considerable expertise in life sciences, drug discovery, diagnostics, artificial intelligence, advanced imaging, and scientific instrumentation, with a career focused on translating emerging technologies into meaningful solutions for researchers, pharmaceutical companies, and healthcare organizations.

Prior to joining Proveris, Dan held senior leadership roles at Revvity, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Novartis, and GE Healthcare, where he worked across strategy, innovation, business development, and portfolio transformation. His experience spans drug discovery and development, advanced imaging technologies, laboratory automation, data analytics, and the application of artificial intelligence to scientific workflows.

At Proveris, Dan is focused on advancing the company’s leadership in nasal and orally inhaled drug development, expanding its scientific capabilities, and developing the next generation of technologies and services that help pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies bring innovative medicines to patients more efficiently.

Dan holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School. He also serves as an adjunct instructor at Brandeis University.

Founder & CEO

Dino Farina founded Proveris in 1995 to help customers deliver high-quality orally inhaled and nasal drug products (OINDPs) to the patients who depend on them. He selected the company name to reflect its guiding philosophy: Proveris, derived from the Latin words Probare (to test, approve, demonstrate) and Veritas (truth).

As Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Dino continues to guide Proveris’ technology vision, innovation strategy, and scientific advancement. Under his leadership, Proveris has developed industry-leading instrumentation and analytical solutions that are widely used throughout the pharmaceutical industry.

Dino completed two graduate degree programs in mechanical engineering at Stanford University. He was awarded the prestigious NASA Student Fellowship to study advanced fluid dynamics at NASA Ames Research Center and co-authored two groundbreaking journal articles related to temperature- and shear-stress-sensitive liquid crystal coatings.

His passion for engineering excellence and scientific rigor has helped establish Proveris as a trusted partner for OINDP development and manufacturing worldwide.

Senior Director of Marketing

Joanne leads global marketing, creating strategies that turn complex science into practical solutions for customers. Joanne has over 20 years of experience in analytical instrumentation, mass spectrometry, and pharmaceutical technology, with a strong focus on product marketing, product management, and building trusted customer partnerships. Prior to joining Proveris, Joanne held senior marketing roles at Waters Corporation, and commercial and technical leadership roles at PerkinElmer and SAI Limited. Joanne is passionate about helping pharmaceutical companies tackle the challenges of inhaled and nasal drug development.

Eric is a seasoned expert in providing analytical services and solutions with over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. Eric has a diverse background that includes roles as scientist, laboratory manager, and commercial leader. Notably, Eric has served as Director of Sales for medical device testing services, where he significantly contributed to business growth and success. Eric’s passion for life sciences drives his commitment to connecting clients with innovative solutions to advance their product research and development for patients to have access to life-changing and lifesaving medications.

Quality Assurance Manager

Marie ensures all testing processes meet regulatory standards and internal quality protocols, where she helps develop and maintain quality systems, conducts audits, reviews documentation, and investigates deviations to ensure accuracy and compliance. With a background in Biotechnology, she is involved in training staff on quality procedures, monitoring equipment calibration, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Marie works closely with her team to safeguard data integrity and product reliability, and plays a critical role in maintaining the laboratory’s credibility, safety, and adherence to industry and legal requirements.
